Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on 7 7 of December 1973 to Mr and Mrs Tim Oyakhilome, as the first son of the family. He was educated in primary and secondary education at Ambrose Alli University. After that he graduated with a BSc Architecture.

While still in AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student. He began to explore the ministry while in AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at the time called Youths For Christ.
YFC has seen rapid growth and was the largest campus church. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church's headquarters are in Lagos. Believer's LoveWorld is an international ministry that has millions of members and associates across the globe.
With the 2002-themed miracles, BLW became Africa’s most popular Christian ministry. The foundation has carried out more than a thousand First Aid, safety, and emergency response courses. The foundation has taught over 1,000 police officers, teachers, caregivers, and road transportation workers.
