Pastor of faith, author, and faith healer, and television presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also known as Pastor Chris) is the founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. The company, which is also called Christ Embassy is based out of Lagos, Nigeria. His unique and inspiring interpretation of God's Word has inspired millions of people around the world.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a religious family with loving, dedicated parents.  Pastor Chris Oyakhilome He was the oldest of four children born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina, and the mother of the Oyakhilome family, who imprinted her faith in God's grace upon her son from an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry includes the entire family. Reverend Ken is Ken's brother and is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is the director at the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. This ministry is home to many gospel artists who are top-selling worldwide.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon chose to follow her father's example of sharing the Word of God with the world. The name is CSO (Community Service Organization) She is a gifted gospel singer and is a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education at Edo College. Then he was granted a scholarship to go to Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There was he obtained an BSc. in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. While still in university The Man of God began what would turn out to be the biggest congregation worldwide. It started with the formation of a small prayer group called 'Youth For Christ'. The group would later grow to be the foundation for LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with a later number of millions of followers worldwide.

Under Pastor Chris's guidance, under the direction of Pastor Chris, the LoveWorld ministry was a pioneer in satellite TV and Christian television production and programming. LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian TV station to broadcast from Africa, 24 hours a day, on air-free networks. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations all over the globe.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a passionate patron of charity, established the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation Inter (COFI) as an non-profit, non-governmental organization that aims to assist communities that are most vulnerable and people in the poorest regions of the globe.

Five partners make up COFI, all working together to raise living standards in the most deprived areas.

COFI supervises the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to improve the health, lives and spirits for those in dire need.

The charity also provides food for children in need. Pastor Chris believes in empowering communities by establishing COFI and The InnerCity Mission.
