Chris Oyakhilome Biography: The Man, The Mentor, The Teacher and The Philanthropist

Pastor of faith, faith healer author, and television host, Chris Oyakhilome who is referred to by his fans as Pastor Chris, is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also called Christ Embassy, located in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique interpretation of God's Word has enthralled millions of people around the world.

Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a family of faith with loving and dedicated parents.  Pastor Chris Oyakhilome He is the son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. The divine grace of her mother was passed down to her son early.

The whole family is actively involved with the LoveWorld ministry. Reverend Ken is his brother and is the revered Pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a member the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry which houses a number of top gospel artists.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Pastor Chris Oyakhilome went to Edo College and was awarded a scholarship by Bendel State University to study architecture. He is a recipient of an honorary degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. It was Ambrose Ali University when he received a call from God to become a minister and servant of the Lord.

The Man of God, while still a student at university started what would later become one of the most important churches in the world. A small group of prayer known as Youth for Christ’ was formed. It would develop to become one of the largest and most well-known institutions on campus. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions with the base of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.

Under the leadership of Pastor Chris, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel to broadcast 24 hours a day from Africa via free-to -air networks.
